Inari

In Japanese mythology, everything revolves around kami. The kami are not expressly gods, but rather, spirits or holy powers that are inherent in all the components of the world, from natural phenomena to objects. Inari is also a kami, the kami of fertility and abundance, among others, represented as male or female, and always in the company of animals. INARI Calming Stone is a modular street furniture: it consists of several different elements from which any shape or formation can be freely constructed.

It can be turned into a backrest bench suitable for sitting, support unit or even a bench chair, public space divider, or even waterfront sunbed. An important aspect of its design was that if no one is using it, it should not suggest a sense of emptiness or non-use, which is why, thanks to its unusual appearance, it is both a furniture and a public installation at the same time. The surface treatment of INARI elements can be varied: honed, polished, or even patterned, sandblasted or sawn. The surface treatment of the elements of a single piece of furniture can be different, thus providing an even more unique look.

Made of 100 percent natural freshwater Pannon Travertine.

Outstanding value in use: one of the greatest advantages of street furniture made from Pannon Travertine is that compared to other natural or artificial materials (which can get up to 15-20 degrees Celsius hotter than air), it does not heat up even in scorching sunshine, does not form a heat island, and provides a pleasant temperature sensation.

Its uniqueness lies in the natural varieties of limestone: the colour and pattern variability of the mined stone is very diverse, thus it cannot be used to make two street furniture of exactly the same texture or colour. Such is the background to its individuality.

Pannon Travertine, due to its special structure, is extremely resistant to salt, frost and abrasion.
